what to do in case of fire

1.bring everyone in the house to the ground floor from where they can leave the building safely.
2.see that the fire brigade is called at once: don't think that someone else has already done so.
3.do everthing possible to reduce the draughts which may fan the fire; close all doors and windows, even in rooms away from the fire.
4.if cut off by fire ---close the door of the room and any fanlight or other oopening and block up any cracks with bedding,etc.
5.if the room fills with smoke, lean out of the window unless prevented by smoke andflame coming from a room below or nearby.
6.if clothing catches fire...roll on the floor to extinguish the flames.
