Should boxing be banned?

This is our debate topic in our Comprehensive English.
My opinion is shouldn't. The main point is that boxing is beneficial for our body and mind.

but boxing may hurt competitors badly，they could even die..
why can't we choose other sports instead of cheering the audience up by hitting each other？

It is volince and cool-bloody..
And the boxer may be die or become disable..

but I think it should be banned!Not just it has bad effects on the children,but also it cause mang deaths!

In my opinion, boxing should be banned. Because it is too violence and it will be a bad example for the students.

NO. Though it's a bit violent, many people still love watching it,like the famous WWE. If it is banned, the fans of boxing will be angry.

The spirit of boxing is to try your best, and to keep fighting.Therefore,I think it should not be banned but we can change some rules to avoid death or hurted badly.

fighting is glorified a lot in the media as a "manly" act. Its because of this popularity that it does attract 1 bad person who uses it for bad, for the 99 people who use it for positive reasons.
