i have a good way to improve my speaking, that is read the New Concept English everyday, it is really usefull, if you can insist

I listen to the BBC news and hardly can understand it. too fast to catch the idea. so worry about that..

That's really a biog problem. To be honest, my oral english is also rather poor, but I think"Practice makes perfect ". Come on!!

I have same feeling like you. I am upset all the time when hearing others fluently and beautifully voice.

Remember this: memorising books and grammar is great for exams, terrible for communication.

The opportunities you have for communication are all around you, you shouldnt be waiting for a teacher to tell you this. If you want to learn to communicate, then COMMUNICATE.

Nothing replaces language practice where you have to think and be creative and descriptive. No shortcuts around this.

yesterday I read an article which said that all chinese people good at saying"My English is poor". On the contray, no matter hoe bad English speakers' chinese is, they never say their chinese is poor, they may say"I am still a little weak". I think it is worth thinking twice why the situation should be like this? We chinese really a little foolish than them ??????

Look at how you learn Chinese and English. Chinese you learn by using it every day and communicating. English you just learn trying to remember books and words without using or communicating in it...
