Shaoguan University is helping clean up the world!

Which states that Shaoguan University and its research partners (Australia’s CRC CARE and HLM Asia Group) have invented a way to create clean energy from contaminated land.

Apparently the method that they have presented involves using a fast growing type of grass that cleanses polluted soils and can potentially be later converted to ethanol for fuel or steam for electricity production.

This is pretty awesome. Next time someone tells you that they don't know much about Shaoguan University, you can tell them this!
