Some encouraging words for my students...

As some of you know I have a friend who works at Xi'an Jiaotong University as an English teacher (she's Chinese). I was discussing with her today all my little websites and things I try to push my students to do.

She then had a look at the videos of the 2nd year student presentations. She told me that my students spoken English was better than hers.

To put that in perspective, Xi'an Jiaotong University was ranked 12th best university in all of China in 2008 whilst Shaoguan University was ranked 442nd. (according to this site http://rank2008.netbig.com/cn/rnk_1_0_0.htm )
